Oxfam have produced a new Stop Climate Chaos video for Glastonbury as part of their Here and Now climate change campaign.

The video features Fatboy Slim, Jarvis Cocker, VV Brown, Little Boots and more, and they want you to join them 'demanding action until you're blue in the face'. They've also got photographer Rankin to take some great shots of everyone involved. Have a sneak preview below!

Dalkeith High School win our Scottish filmmaking contest

When I'm in the supermarket I never really think, as I put the latest 3 for 2 offers into my basket, that my spur of the moment decisions have big implications for the planet. Rubbish, some people shout. And that's exactly the point, there's just too much waste.

Clean coal (by the Coen brothers)

While EON and the UK government wax lyrical about 'clean coal' and Kingsnorth 'cleaner coal plant' the reality is that there is no such thing as clean coal.

Over in the US where activists have also been campaigning against the coal lobby, Joel and Ethan Coen (The Big Lebowski*, Raising Arizona, No Country for Old Men, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?) have produced an ad for the ThisIsReality.org website.

Oxfam have produced this rather splendid video, Face The Music, to illustrate how the people least able to cope with this warming world of ours (and will suffer more as a result) are also the ones who've contributed the least in terms of emissions. Worth watching for the music alone, which will hopefully reach the ears of those currently engaged in the Poznan talks.
