Women's Environmental Network

The Women’s Environmental Network (WEN) is the only organisation in the UK that has worked consistently to make the links between women’s lives and environmental issues. WEN’s vision is of an environmentally sustainable world in which we have achieved gender equality. Our mission is to make the connections between women’s health and well-being and environmental issues. We want to inspire women to make environmentally informed choices about their health. We aim to empower women to become agents of change in their families, networks and society, and to participate equally in an environmentally sustainable future.

Tearfund

Tearfund

Tearfund has a big vision which we've been bringing into being since 1968. We know there's God-given-potential in poor communities. We work with local churches to unlock this potential. With your help, we've seen millions escape extreme poverty - permanently.

The Safe Alliance

The Safe Alliance (The Safety in Fossil Fuel Exploitation Alliance) has come about because there is substantial evidence that indicates that the ‘dash for gas’ (in the UK and globally) is unsafe and irresponsible, both for this generation and future generations. The Alliance was formed in December 2013 and aims to provide access to information and resources, including helping to connect different local groups, and helping access legal advice. We are also creating a ‘fighting fund’ to fund proactive legal work to help prepare local groups in advance and to help fund specific legal actions.
Tikambilanie

Tikambilanie - Sustainable Communication

Rather than claiming to have answers, Kamoto and The Green Living Movement offer a technique for exploring a situation that enables people to come together and work to improve it. In some senses a simple approach, it is versatile enough to deal with the subtleties that occur when dealing with habits, tradition and differing cultures. Great respect is given to the individuality of each situation, which is why Tikambilanie wants to work with existing organisations, exchanging ideas and techniques. through practical examples .
