Artists Project Earth

Artists Project Earth has funded over 300 projects and awareness raising initiatives around the world that combat climate change and develop local resilience and solutions to climate injustice – and gives emergency funding for natural disaster relief. Artists Project Earth in collaboration with international musicians has produced three ‘Rhythms Del Mundo’ fundraising albums to date.

Croydon Real Nappy Network promotes modern reusable nappies in the Borough of Croydon by providing impartial information and advice about using washable nappies to prospective and existing cloth nappy users. Funds permitting, we offer £30 vouchers for nappies. Our motto is “Saving the planet from the bottom up!"

CTC Scotland

At local level, CTC members form Member Groups which also have many of the attributes of a Cycling Club - organising runs, tours, competitive events and training, as well as campaigning for cycling at a local level. CTC Scotland brings together representatives of these Member Groups and other organisations to discuss and deal with matters relating to cycling in Scotland. There are many local cycling clubs and several cycle campaigning groups in Scotland and the rest of the UK. CTC is the one body which embraces all kinds of cycle use and interests.

The Energy Agency is a non-profit making organisation, providing free, impartial and expert advice to households, businesses and communities covering energy efficiency, sustainable transport and renewable energy. The Energy Agency’s mission is to reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions, thus contributing to national reduction targets. The Energy Agency manage the Energy Saving Scotland advice centre for South West. It is tasked with assisting householders and local businesses throughout Ayrshire & Dumfries & Galloway to help reduce energy use as well as acting as a bridge between local authorities, consumers, trade, businesses and the energy market.

We are a group of students from across the UK who want to raise awareness of the links between global environmental change and health, and to help protect and promote human health through adequate climate mitigation and adaptation policy. We are affiliated to the Medsin-UK as one of its activities and seek to promote and work towards solutions at a range of levels. Medsin is a student network and registered charity tackling global and local health inequalities through education, advocacy and community action. We have over 30 branches in universities across the UK, many nationally run activities and several national working groups alongside collaborating with numerous external partner organisations both nationally and internationally.

We are London based however we work closely with volunteers and partners from South America to Eastern Europe, in areas that we believe have the best potential for eco-tourism.

Scientists for Global Responsibility (SGR) is an independent UK-based membership organisation of about 900 natural scientists, social scientists, engineers, IT professionals and architects. We promote science, design and technology that contribute to peace, social justice, and environmental sustainability. SGR carries out research, education and advocacy work focused on four main issues: security and disarmament; climate change and energy; who controls science and technology; and emerging technologies.
