Time to Act: Climate, Fuel Poverty and Energy Reform

Campaign against Climate Change and Fuel Poverty Action have teamed up to organise a public meeting entitled 'Time to Act: Climate, Fuel Poverty and Energy Reform'. The event will focus on the connection between fuel poverty and climate change and how by addressing climate change through better energy policy, we can solve social injusticies such as fuel poverty.

The speakers at the event will be a representative from Fuel Poverty Action, Jonas a representative of the climate working group of FeIS, (Für eine linke Strömung), which is part of the Berliner-Energietisch coalition which recently organised and mobilised for a referendum on the ownership of the Berlin energy grid and Fiona Brookes from Campaign against Climate Change.

The meeting is being hosted at SOAS, University of London in room G50 in the Main Building. The address is SOAS University, Russell Square, London WC1H 0XG, the nearest tube stations are Russell Square and Goodge Street. It is a 20 minute walk from King's Cross St Pancras.
