Ride again to make Scotland a cycle-friendly country! With Pedal On Parliament now in its sixth year, and the Scottish local authority elections looming, we’re ringing the changes with three mass rides in three of Scotland’s cities, and will be taking to the streets of Glasgow on Sunday 23rd April.
Once more, we’ll be joining forces with We Walk, We Cycle We Vote and many other active travel organisations to present a united front to our politicians and to put active travel on the agenda for the next five years in Scotland (you can find out more about We Walk, We Cycle, We Votehere)
Although we’re making a serious point about making cycling safer and easier, the day itself will be light-hearted.
The ride will be from Glasgow Green to George Square on entirely closed roads, and will be a family-friendly demonstration suitable for all cyclists of all ages. Meet at Glasgow Green for a 1pm start.
