2014 Matters event: Justice in Foreign Policy, Immigration & Human Rights

Part of the 2014 Matters event series, organised by Stop Climate Chaos Scotland and others.

In 2014 Scotland will vote on whether or not to become an independent country. What impact will this have on our foreign policy, immigration and global justice?

With leading thinkers, writers, campaigners and politicans we’re coming together to ask these questions and explore how Scotland can make the world a better place.

Chaired by the Sunday Herald's Iain Macwhirter our discussion will look at how we can have a more just immigration system and foreign policy, and Scotland’s role in promoting human rights for all.  With John Finnie MSP, John Wilkes, Scottish Refugee Council and Dr. Kieran Oberman, University of Edinburgh.

We think its vital for civil society to take part in this exciting debate about Scotland’s future and want to see social and environmental justice moved to the centre of the discussion. Would you like to join us?
